GH Presentation is based on the idea of providing information in museums and exhibitions that are displayed according to the visitor's wishes; which exhibition content they want to specifically know more about. It is a modular extendable presentation system. Currently available features are:

  • Touchscreen for the visitors
  • Presentations that were created by the author in PowerPoint and they run either automatically or controlled by the visitors
  • Databank search with illustrations
  • Book presentation with scroll and zoom functions
  • Games for knowledge building, especially for teenagers, children and school classes

For example, a valuable book in an exhibition is opened at a certain page. On the touchscreen, the visitor can scroll through the book as they wish, open every page, use the zoom function, compare with other databases and receive further information.

Computer games and movies can be integrated. Multimedia animations, projections and audio playbacks will invite visitors to interact with them. They are controlled by a simple gesture command on the touchscreen, like smartphones. The software of GH-Presentation is freely configurable for the presentation and the trimming of books and the acquisition of PowerPoint presentations. It runs on regular PCs with touchscreens for the visitor. It is controlled by a locked control monitor with keyboard and mouse. Windows 8.1 and Cincom VisualWorks Smalltalk serve as the technological basis.

With GH Presentation, we have achieved a product that makes it possible for exhibition visitors to know more about all the exhibits within the exhibition theme. Because the product also contains fun components, it is especially interesting for children and teenagers.

You can see an example on the following website Adventurous World of the German Language.
